The 2024 KCIA FOD Walk and Airport Community Day was a great success!
Hundreds of visitors participated in the 4th annual FOD Walk – enjoying the special opportunity being on a two mile runway and helping look for foreign object debris -, and even more were subsequently welcomed by more than 20 airport-related exhibitors, four food trucks, and a static display area with a very interesting variety of aircraft and one of the airport’s ARFF (Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting) trucks.
We’re sure we can make next year’s event even more attractive and fun – looking forward to welcoming you back in Summer of 2025!
